Can we cater for your budget?
Yes, we provide menus offering different priced items to suit
any budget.
Can we cater for guests with special dietary requirements?
Yes, please inform us one month prior to the wedding.
Can you have a taste test of the food?
Yes, after a non-refundable deposit has been received.
Are there any extra hidden costs?
If any individual requirements are requested above the packages the prices will be quoted in the contract.
Is there a minimum charge?
$300 to use the Resort grounds for up to 4 hours.
Do we require a deposit?
20% Deposit is required two weeks after reservation is made.
What is our refund/cancellation policy?
The deposit is non-refundable, any cancellation within 30 days will incur a charge of 50% of the balance due, cancellations or any changes to guest numbers within 14 days will be responsible for the entire balance.
When is the balance of payment required?
Two weeks, 14 days prior to wedding.
When do you need to confirm numbers?
Two weeks, 14 days prior to wedding.
What is your room booking policy?
To qualify for the group room discount you must book 12 or more rooms.
If guests are booking rooms independently a block of rooms may be held for the wedding party and any unutilized rooms will be released without fee 45 days prior to the wedding day.
What is your Hotel room cancellation policy?
Group Bookings of over 12 rooms are subjected to the 45-Day Status Report. Any adjustments or cancellations within the 45 day status report will incur a minimum charge of one night’s accommodation for any accommodation not utilized or underutilized, except by prior written arrangement. When circumstances beyond the control of the Company (Force Majeure), result in non-arrival, late cancellation or lesser use of accommodation or services, and the Company notifies the Resort at the first practical opportunity, the resort may amend or waive charges at its sole discretions.
Individual reservations – 48 hours notice of cancellations is necessary otherwise a cancellation fee equivalent to the value of the first night accommodation will apply.
Do you specialize in certain cuisine?
New Zealand, Asian fusion.
Where is the food prepared?
On-site kitchen.
Who takes care of all the cleaning/washing up?
We do all the work for you.
When does the menu need to be finalized by?
One month, 4 weeks prior to your wedding.
How is our wait staff dressed?
Black pants, black apron from waist to floor, light blue shirt and black tie.
What if I wanted to bring my own specialty wine?
We can special order in almost any wine for you and if it is not consumed return the balance.
What if I wanted to come in and set up decorations myself?
Not a problem, you may do so the evening prior the event and on the day of the wedding.
How many wait staff will we have per guests?
One staff per 20 guests.
What happens if I purchase a case of wine and we do not drink it all?
You will only be charged for the bottles and cases that you use. Any unfinished cases will be charged per bottle and the remainder of the wine will be returned to our suppliers.
What happens if we do not purchase enough of a beverage type?
Your choice of back up product will be decided upon prior to the wedding from our Bar Menu.
How is the beverage usage confirmed?
All bottles are kept to confirm usage.
What is for selection if we have a cash bar?
Bar menu will be available for cash bar.
What time will the bar be open until?
Our liquor license is until 1:00am
Who will be responsible for any breakages or problems?
You will be responsible for any property damage or excessive breakages. Normal wear and tear will be the Resort’s responsibility.
Who will be there on the day making sure everything runs smoothly?
A Function Coordinator and Duty Manager will be on-site during
the event.
